Dr David Kerr has over twenty years of experience in general dental practice, and has completed extensive, advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and dental implants. He graduated from Dentistry with honours from the University of Queensland in 1998, having obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours in 1992. Dr Kerr is passionate about the use of dental technology to improve patient outcomes. He is a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Dentsply Sirona, helping this company develop and test their new and emerging dental technologies.

David was recently awarded a global recognition award by Suresmile for the Outstanding Orthodontic Practice for 2020. He has been invited to teach dental professionals at various global dental events and is the Co-Founder of Dental Health Network, a group devoted to supporting dental professionals through education.

Dr David and his business partner Dr Darryl Marsh own a large dental practice in Brisbane that employs five OHTs. The practice has employed OHTs and Dental Hygienists for over twenty years and was one of the first practices in Brisbane to employ a Dental Hygienist. David is a firm believer in the OHT model and fully embraces the multidisciplinary team approach to comprehensive dental care.
